It is the time of the year when the Company announces each staff’s salary increment 👏 and bonus 💶. At this particular time, the Company must have done well to increase salary and hand out bonus 🚀.

In fact, I am a strong believer that one should learn how to invest and understand the importance of passive income. Martin Luther King Jr.

It was Martin Luther King day on 18 January. Everyone should have read about Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I have a dream” speech delivered on 28 August 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C.

Today, if you go on the street and ask anyone, they would tell you about their dreams. I dream of going out to the wilds. I dream of traveling to Tokyo for great sushi dinner. But are our dreams only about freedom from the pandemic? On MLK day, US politicians wrote about what had happened to the Capitol and reflected on what had happened in the past 4 years. What kind of freedom are we seeking?

Over last year at the workplace, we evolved to a hybrid work arrangement to cope with the situation. Some colleagues managed to work from home the entire time. Some colleagues were managed in a split team arrangement. Behind this, the options are derived from each team member’s real life situation. The pandemic has impacted majority of the business. It has also pushed us to re-think about the needs of the team members of the company. As a manager, I always remind all team members to think of what value are they bringing to the company at the unprecedented times.

Actually, boss bear wanted to start its journey for some time, but the human mankind’s biggest hurdle… procrastinate… Hey, actually I read about an article that says “procrastination” is one of the common traits of highly intelligent people. Even Steve Jobs used it strategically 🤣 Procrastination is key to innovate. 🤓
